Well, here we are another year wiser, older and more well read! Each month we alternate between meeting for dinner and libations and watching a movie, OR discussing the selected book. Following is the list of dates and books:
March 13-15 - Bookies retreat at the Oregon Coast "Gathering Place". Book - My Stroke of Insight by Dr. Jill Bolt Taylor.
April 9th: The Zookeepers Wife by Diane Ackerman, hosted at Debbie's house.
May 14th: movie night with Peg
June 11th: The Key to Rebecca by Ken Follett, hosted at Robin's house
July 9th: movie night - with Jo
August 13th: book-TBA
September 10th: movie with Lia
October 9-11: Bookies retreat at Black Butte, A Tree grows in Brooklyn by Betty Smith
November 12th: movie night with Marj
December 10: Bookies Christmas party at Pats
BAD GIRL BOOKIES Where half the group doesn't read the book and the other half doesn't show up.
